PRESS REVIEWS 2010
... Having listened to Bacchetti so many times, we know him well as a splendid
interpreter of J.S. Bach, both in concert and in lucky score that won important prizes.
His meticulous and limpid technique tends to clear the most hard musical details, and so it
suits to all baroque authors who are connected to Bach or to Italian cembalists or pianists
of Eighteen Century. ...
Andrea Bacchetti for the Musical Evenings
www.corrierebit.com/music - February 24th, 2010 - Cesare Guzzardella
Andrea Bacchetti often comes to Milan for Musical Evenings concerts.
Yesterday at Dal Verme Theatre he performed pieces by J.S. Bach, his favourite composer. His
already conspicuous Bach discographic production witnesses his boundless interest for this author.
The pieces choice was excellent yesterday, for about an hour of music without pauses (the artist
personally asked to audience not to clap for not stopping the constant flow of magnificent and
deep music). The English Suite n.6, the Choral BWV 691 and 846-1, two splendid Chorals revisited
by Busoni Busoni "Nun kommt der Heiden Heiland" and "Ich ruf zu dir, Herr",
the Toccata in E min. BWV 914 and the French Suite n.5 had been interpreted with stylistic and
aesthetic rigor.
Bacchetti's sound is beautiful, austere, clear and defined by thin dynamic
contrasts. The linear start and maybe not so contrasted of the first suite didn't exclude high
interpretative preciousness, especially in final movements of the same piece, in the two Chorals
by Busoni and in the delicious French Suite, that was accurate in every details. A great Bach
for one of his greatest Italian interpreters.
There were three encores: Pulcinella by Villa Lobos, a Prelude by Rachmaninov and the very
famous final of Bach according to Goldberg.

Audience in raptures at Caio Melisso theatre about Maestro Bacchetti
www.tuttoggi.info - May 30th, 2010
... The new score by Andrea Bacchetti deserves five stars for the interpretative
maturity shown by this pianist - born in 1977 - who previously essayed the Bach keyboard universe
with a former record for Dynamic (a record that obtained many positive reports by specialized critic).
The sound - that is quite interesting and far from easier fascinations and emulations of a cymbal -
gives pure poetry in slow movements as in the faster ones. A good Bach score, without doubts
recommended to all Kantor's fans.

... a concert all dedicated to night by the violinist Domenico Nordio with the
pianist Andrea Bacchetti ... if the violin was mostly directed to the virtuosic writing, in his
prevalent role of "accompanist" the pianist Bacchetti had also the great merit of giving
an executive vest of notable refinement to parts that often tend to be unjustly neglected.
