        	J.S. Bach - The toccatas

Even though Toccatas BWV 910-916 aren't today very popular, these pieces for keyboard represent the
best pieces that J.S. Bach could ever compose for this genre, that since ancient times was characterized
by an extreme variability both in formal structure (one, two or more movements) and in musical substance.
This discographic innovation makes them appreciate again in their modern pianistic version, also thanks
to Andrea Bacchetti's ability in fingers, and the pianist is great to make evident contrasts and styles
that make this collection very enjoyable (for example, think to the concert style that characterize the
Toccata BWV 916, which opens the score).
