I got rhythm

The "philharmonic" year begins with the refinement of the French's and the Americans' immediacy. Indeed, the program takes its first steps into the magical meeting of poetry with the music by Fauré, which combines depth and lightness in an original and charming style; then it goes on three beautiful pages for voice by the young Debussy beside his Cathédrale Engloutie, which finally transports us into the extraordinary America according to Samuel Barber, Bernstein and Gershwin.
Exceptional protagonist is Gabriella Costa, a very versatile singer, appreciated by major Italian theaters for her vast repertoire, that ranges from baroque to contemporary through chamber music and opera. Next to her, after a concert entirely devoted to Bach, Andrea Bacchetti is back, pianist still in his thirties who can be proud of a dazzling career; formed by the advices of musicians like Karajan, Magaloff and Berio, he recorded CDs for major labels and played in the most important festivals, even if today Italians who do not attend the concert halls know him above all as the entertainer pianist in tv variety shows like "Chiambretti Night" and "Chiambretti Supermarket".
